Columbus office demand is more spread out than most people expect. CBRE's third quarter 2026 numbers put Polaris at 10.3% vacancy and Easton at 13.8%, while Dublin sat at 19.8% and Downtown at 23.5%. Leasing hit 812,000 square feet that quarter, the most in three years, and Ohio State alone took 194,000 square feet at 17 S High St downtown. The caterers line up with those pockets. Corporate Caterers works out of Dublin Center Drive, Carfagna's runs its catering from its Polaris market on Gemini Place, and Dos Hermanos has kitchens at Easton, Polaris, Bridge Park in Dublin and North Market Downtown. Event Thyme is based in Powell, Catering by Scott is in Bexley, and Milo's sits on West Broad Street in Franklinton, a short drive from the downtown towers.
Six of these caterers publish prices. Piada boxed lunches are $13.99 each with a 10 box minimum, Carfagna's boxed lunch is $14.95, or $15.50 with a drink, and Dos Hermanos charges $16.50 per person for boxed meals and $15.50 for a taco bar. Corporate Caterers lists specials at $13 per guest and seasonal hot features from $15.75 to $19, with a 10 person minimum. Event Thyme prices sandwiches at $11.95 to $12.50, and Sweet Carrot posts per-item prices. For ordering without a phone call, Piada, BIBIBOP, Carfagna's, Milo's and Corporate Caterers run their own online systems, and Condado and Agape go through ezCater. Lead times run from three hours at BIBIBOP to 48 hours at Milano. Cameron Mitchell, Milano and Catering by Scott work by phone or proposal.
A few local details are worth knowing. Fees vary a lot. Piada charges $30 for delivery within 20 miles of a store, Corporate Caterers includes delivery, setup and cleanup for groups of 10 or more, and Event Thyme adds an 18% service fee to every order, 22% in December. Milano wants final counts 48 hours out and charges 50% for cancelling inside that window. On tax, Ohio has taxed fees charged by delivery apps since April 2025, even on food, so ask for the all-in number. Plan ahead around Arnold Sports Festival week in early March, which expected more than 100,000 guests at the convention center in 2026. City Barbeque's site blocked our check and Simply Plated's site came back blank, so confirm their terms directly before you order.
