Only three of these caterers post real prices. Flying Star lists boxed lunches from $13.50 to $19.50 and a 16 half sandwich box for $135. Taste Boutique Catering prices by platter, with 20 half sandwiches for $90 to $110 and salads for about 20 people at $80 to $140. Sadie's posts off-site buffets at $22.99 to $37.99 per person before tax and gratuity, plus bulk trays where a full tray of enchiladas feeds about 30 for $95. Minimums are rare. The Grove wants $400 for delivery and Special Touch sets minimums of four to six per item on executive box lunches. A few local details before you order. New Mexico charges gross receipts tax instead of sales tax, and the combined rate in Albuquerque is 7.625%. Delivery fees vary a lot: Flying Star typically charges $10, Taste charges $75 anywhere in the city or $125 to $150 with setup, and Slate Street charges $125 to $175 plus a 22% service charge. Lead times run from 48 hours at Flying Star, Taste and Casa Taco to a final head count 10 days out at Slate Street. Whole Hog will travel anywhere in the state. Book early around the Balloon Fiesta, which ran October 3 to 11 in 2026, and big shows at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
